Why Surprise, AZ Homeowners Choose Us

Roof replacement specialists in El Mirage: we manage tear-off, decking inspection, and full code-compliant installation from start to finish
Arizona's intense UV exposure degrades shingles faster than in most of the country — we help you get ahead of it before interior damage sets in
Honest assessment: we'll tell you whether repair can extend your roof's life or whether a full replacement is the smarter investment right now
Familiar with materials that hold up under the Sonoran Desert sun — asphalt, tile, and metal options suited to El Mirage's climate
Licensed through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and experienced pulling permits through El Mirage's online permit system — no corners cut

El Mirage requires a building permit for roof replacement, re-roofing, and any repair work that alters an existing structure — permits are not optional on a full replacement
As of January 2024, all permit applications in El Mirage must be submitted through the city's ELM Online Permitting portal — paper applications are no longer accepted in person, by fax, or by mail
Arizona roofing codes are set at the local level, not statewide; El Mirage adopts model codes from the International Code Council (IRC for residential), and the city may maintain its own amendments — confirm the current edition in effect with the El Mirage Building Safety division before work begins
Arizona requires roofing contractors to hold a valid license through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) — always verify your contractor's ROC number before signing a contract
Permit requirements and fee schedules can change; contact El Mirage Building Safety directly or visit elmirageaz.gov/building-permits-inspections to confirm current requirements for your specific project

Rules like these vary by lot and change often — the fastest way to know what applies to your property is to ask.
